Patriot Industries Launches New Cost-Savings App

LOUISA, Vir. — The cost of Rigid Galvanized Steel Conduit is at the highest level in years, and while many engineers and contractors know that Rigid Aluminum Conduit is a lower cost direct substitute there are hundreds more who have never heard of this value engineering opportunity.

In response, Patriot Industries has developed a unique and easy-to-use tool that will help electricians and contractors to clearly identify labor and material cost savings. “Everyone is looking for value engineering opportunities, and with material savings of 30-50% versus steel combined with installation labor savings of around 50%, Rigid Aluminum is a fantastic method for reducing construction costs,” said Tom Click, President & CEO of Patriot Industries.

“We are so excited to offer this new tool for our customers, electricians, contractors, distributors, and reps. This gives them real-time costs and labor savings for each one of their projects in a matter of seconds. Time is money for them and we are proud to be the first US manufacturer to offer a quick-access solution right in their hands,” said Isabelle Puryear, Inside Sales Director.

The App is free and offers users the ability to calculate cost savings using either industry average or an actual quoted price. Costs are totaled and then broken down into individual labor and material estimates for both Steel and Aluminum. It is available to download now on Google Play for Android devices and the App Store for Apple.
