By the time you read this, the tED magazine “Best of the Best” marketing awards competition will be open. This year, entries for the competition are being accepted starting right now, and running through February 26.
Here are the important dates for you to think about while you are working on your submissions. If you get your entries to us between now and January 31, 2016, you can pay the “Early Bird” rate of $125 per entry. Entries submitted between February 1 and February 26 cost $150 each. And, if you need an extension beyond February 26, they will be granted, but only on a case-by-case basis. All requests for an extension need to be made before the February 26th deadline to tED magazine editor Misty Byers at mbyers@naed.org. If your request for an extension is granted, you will have to pay the late fee, making the cost $200 per entry. Regardless, we will not accept any entries after March 18, 2016. At some point, we have to cut off the entry part of the competition so we can begin the judging.
This year, we have 13 marketing categories, once again divided by distributors and suppliers. They are also divided by revenue, so the smaller companies are not competing with the bigger companies. We also added a video category, because so many of you are now using video in a wide variety of your marketing campaigns.
For more information, head over to tedmag.com/best to get everything you need for this year’s “Best of the Best” awards. They will be handed out as part of the NAED AdVenture Conference, which is scheduled for August 10-12 in Chicago. Even if you do not enter the “Best of the Best” awards, you should plan to send members of your marketing team to the event to learn about the latest, most innovative marketing strategies in this industry.
