CARY, Ill. — Light Efficient Design announced the Q1 2017 winner of its LED Champion Program for employees of distributors. George Reed of Capital Tristate, an electrical distributor with 43 locations in the Mid-Atlantic States region, was selected and awarded a $250 Visa gift card.
Reed, the first winner of Light Efficient Design's LED Champion Program, won by working closely with local Light Efficient Design representatives, utilizing advertising campaigns, and educating sales people and end users about the quality of Light Efficient Design retrofits.
“Congratulations to George Reed on a super job,” said Jon Fredrikson, Director of Marketing, Light Efficient Design. “His success spotlights what a great source of solutions and support our LED Champions can be.”
Light Efficient Design inaugurated the LED Champion Program in January, 2017, identifying over 100 participants from distributors across the nation who are excited about retrofits, LEDs, and Light Efficient Design solutions. Members receive polo shirts, phone chargers, sample bags and products, all with the “LED Champion” logo.
Light Efficient Design plans to make quarterly awards to Champion Program members and hopes to have 200 participants by the end of 2017. The prize for the Q2 winner will be airfare to Chicago, two nights stay at a hotel and Cubs game tickets for the winner plus guest. The year-end winner and their guest will receive a free vacation, courtesy of Light Efficient Design.
“Our LED Champions are our top priority,” Fredrikson concluded. “We are delighted to recognize the efforts and skills of our distributor partners.”
