LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Orbit Industries donated to various charities and participated in fundraisers across the Los Angeles community during the holiday season.
Holiday meals were donated to the Los Angeles Mission, a homeless shelter dedicated to helping men, women and children in need. Donations will help provide the homeless on Skid Row with a hot and nutritious meal and safe shelter.
Orbit sponsored St. Vincent School’s Jog-A-Thon, a school fundraiser used to help promote the importance of physical fitness to children in grades K-8. Orbit’s donation will be used to help fund St. Vincent School’s sport and physical activities as well as purchase other classroom necessities.
Also, as reported on tEDmag.com on December 22nd, Orbit team members, customers and representatives helped donate new toys and gifts to the children at Kaiser Permanent Hospital in Los Angeles. Hundreds of dollars’ worth of children’s toys and gifts were brought together and donated through Orbit’s Annual Holiday Toy Drive. The gifts will be placed in a play section of the Hematology/Oncology Department, which treats children who suffer from cancer and blood diseases.
“Orbit truly believes in supporting the community in any way we can,” said Orbit’s CEO David Nikayin. “Through these donations, we hope to give back, to ensure that everyone has a joyful holiday season.”
