TINTON FALLS, N.J. — Warshauer Electric Supply, a New Jersey-based electrical wholesaler, held its 11th annual blood drive with Central Jersey Blood Center. The event was hosted on Thursday, July 19th, in the front parking lot of Warshauer Electric’s Tinton Falls Headquarters and The Lighting Design Center.
Customers, employees, and families were invited to participate in this year’s blood drive. “It is a great way to have our company and employees give back to the community,” says Executive Vice President, Jim Dunn. Jersey Mikes of Shrewsbury actively participated, giving away free sandwich cards to all donors. All together there were 19 donors, which translates to 57 people given the gift of life.
“Surgery patients, accident victims, leukemia and other cancer patients, premature babies, cardiac patients, and burn victims are just a few of the patients who depend on blood and blood products for recovery,” says Karen from the Central Jersey Blood Center. Warshauer takes great pride in helping others and displaying corporate social responsibility.
