CLEVELAND, Ohio — SPA CEO David Bauders has announced the addition of long-time distribution executive Greg Smith to the executive team of SPA. As of Jan. 1, 2019, Smith will serve as the company’s Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Partnerships.
Over an impressive career, Smith has held numerous senior-level positions in the electrical distribution industry. Most recently, he served as executive vice president of Quincy, Mass.–based Granite City Electric Supply. Previously he founded and operated a successful electrical distribution business. He also serves on the board of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED).
Smith will be instrumental in developing and promoting SPA’s comprehensive platform to modernize Industrial B2B sales forces to increase effectiveness, profitability and long-term growth. “Smith has great insight into the modern sales enablement levers of analytical tools, training and technology to drive profitable growth in a disruptive economy,” CEO David Bauders said. “He will be a tremendous resource to SPA clients and partners.”
