Irby’s Myron White was recently named to The Alabama Associated General Contractors (AGC) and Business Alabama Magazine (BA) 2020 Top 40 Under 40 class, 40 individuals “who demonstrate an incredibly high level of leadership, professional excellence, and commitment to the construction industry throughout the state of Alabama.”
White, age 38, began his employment with Irby in an entry-level position as a Material Handler and Delivery Driver. During his 14-year tenure, he has progressed his career through sales, Warehouse Management, and was promoted to his current leadership position as Dothan, Alabama Branch Manager in 2019. During his first year as a Branch Manager, he led his team to a record-breaking year in sales performance. White is well-known for his strong customer relationships in both the industrial and commercial markets of electrical distribution.
Outside of work, White dedicates much of his time to his hometown church, Selma Baptist. He served as the church’s youth leader for eight years, as well as an additional two years driving their Lift Tour youth outreach program. White is also actively involved with his community. He has coached basketball for multiple organizations including his Alma Mater’s varsity basketball team at Wicksburg High School.
White continues to develop his leadership skills and serve as a mentor and crucial developmental driver for his team. Irby is proud of his commitment to the company and industry. White is just getting started and has a long successful career ahead of him.
