CLEVELAND, Ohio — Fran Doris, CEO of Mars Electric, announced the promotions of Michael Doris to President, Michael Mammone to Senior Vice President of Sales, and Andrew Doris to Vice President of Business Development.

Co-Chair of the Board, Mark Doris added, “My parents, Sam & Rebecca Doris, the founders of Mars Electric, would be thrilled to know that the electrical supply company they started in a converted chicken coop in 1952 is now a leading, regional one-stop-shop for customers.”
Michael Doris started working for Mars Electric part-time in 2004 helping customers and stocking inventory. He joined the company full-time in 2010 and worked in the warehouse and at branches to learn the fundamentals of the business. In 2014, Michael was promoted to Director of Operations, and then Executive Vice President in 2017. Prior to joining Mars Electric, Michael was a pricing and then data analyst for Progressive Insurance. Michael’s pensive and calm leadership style has been instrumental in effectively navigating the company through the pandemic. Michael was also named a tED magazine “30 Under 35” award winner in 2015.
Michael Mammone joined Mars Electric in 2013 as the sales manager. Mammone held financial analyst and product line engineer and sales engineer positions at Eaton Corporation for thirteen years prior to joining Mars Electric. He was promoted to vice president of sales at Mars Electric in 2017. Charged with managing the inside and outside sales teams, Mammone has been instrumental in helping generate the company’s explosive growth.
Andrew Doris started working for Mars Electric part-time in 2006 restocking products and labeling shelves. He joined the company full-time in 2015 and was charged with learning all facets of the business in his roles in the warehouse and at branches. Andrew then started the Vendor Management Inventory (VMI) department at the company. Prior to his career at Mars Electric, Andrew was an IT recruiter at Direct Recruiters. Andrew’s tremendous empathy for the customer is perfect for his role, which is to identify new ways to better serve customers.
