FORTUNE Magazine recently released its 2019 “World’s Most Admired Companies” list. The list is based on company surveys and peer ratings from top executives, directors, and members of the financial community. They rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.
Several NAED member companies made the list again this year, including 3M, ABB, Arrow Electronics, Eaton, Emerson Electric, Fastenal, Graybar Electric, Honeywell International, Schneider Electric, Siemens, TE Connectivity, W.W. Grainger, and WESCO International.
“Being named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies is an honor,” said Craig Arnold, Eaton’s chairman and chief executive officer. “It’s a recognition of the work our employees do every day to support our customers, shareholders, communities and each other.”
