NASHVILLE, TN – Orbit Industries, Inc. announces a new partnership with JMA Group (John Moore & Associates) of LaVergne, Tennessee. Effective immediately, JMA Group will represent Orbit’s complete line of electrical products and prefabrication services (PROFAB) throughout the state of Tennessee.
JMA Group is a manufacturer’s representative agency with 51 years of electrical industry experience. A family-owned company in its second generation, JMA Group prides itself on “still delivering” after five decades of service in the Tennessee-Mississippi region.
“JMA is focused on bringing new, innovative, and just plain smart products to the market,” said Troy Jennings, one of the Principals. “We have known for years that Orbit had unique solutions alongside products no other manufacturer offered.”
Jennings and the JMA Group take a holistic approach to representation. For instance, in addition to visiting electrical and lighting distributors, the team proactively connects with both the electrical contractor and engineering communities.
“We are very good at “seating” a product line,” said Jennings. “We [proactively] visit job sites… We become the “agent-of-change” [for manufacturers on our line card].”
Marcus Bannerman, Orbit’s Regional Sales Manager, hopes his strategic partnership with JMA Group will expose more Tennessee contractors and distributors to Orbit’s expansive product line.
He describes his company’s go-to-market strategy as two-fold: “We service distributors with good quality commodity products – like junction boxes, weatherproof, and fittings – as well as strong inventory and competitive pricing,” said Bannerman. “For contractors we focus on prefab products and services.”
