Kansas City-based Milbank Manufacturing, in conjunction with our Manufacturer Representative, Bob Jones and Associates and contractor, High Desert Communications are proud to power Super Bowl LVII’s telecom and 5G mobile network at State Farm Stadium.
‘In March of 2022, High Desert Communications reached out to us searching for an alternative to gear jobs to provide 5G bandwidth everywhere for the Super Bowl,’ said Jeff Jones, Principal, Bob Jones and Associates. The result was a variety of power distribution solutions customized from Milbank’s Enclosed Control line.
The Enclosed Controls are located all over State Farm Stadium and will feed multiple telecom and 5G towers throughout the stadium property. They range from customized 800 amps CP3F series units, which are EUSERC approved, to multiple CP3B A sized units– Milbank’s off-the-shelf Enclosed Control offering.
‘Milbank has established itself as a leader in wireless and 5G solutions with our enclosed controls product line throughout the Phoenix market—they are essentially on every street corner,’ added Andrew Tait, Milbank’s Area Sales Manager, Northwest Region.
Milbank’s Enclosed Controls are an attractive, secure, easy-to-install and cost-effective solution when underground remote site power distribution and control equipment is required, replacing unsightly and inefficient strut and backboard structures. The completely customizable units are ideal for power distribution needed for traffic signals, street lighting, 5G/telecom applications and event power as well as EV power distribution for electric charging stations and much more.
