Welcome to “The Good Stuff”, where we highlight positive news and ways that NAED employees and member companies go above and beyond to give back to their communities! If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED, find out how below.
Today we’re looking at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED):
On August 8, 2023, a devastating wildfire took more than 100 lives and destroyed much of the tourist and economic hub of Lahaina. CED has supported the Hawaiian Islands with electrical supplies and services since 1970.
To support our Island communities, customers, and employees, we contributed $500,000 to the Maui Strong Fund – Hawai’i Community Foundation. On August 30th three of our Hawaii PC Managers — Chris Kamakeeaina, James Ottomeyer, and Ben McCormick — were able to present our donation to Todd Apo, Mary Leong Saunders, and Wally Chin of the HCF. We will continue to support the rebuild of this amazing community.
