ARLINGTON, Va. — In just a few days, the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) will host its highly anticipated annual Policy Conference, taking place from June 10-12 at the prestigious Capital Hilton DC. This year’s event is set to be more significant than ever, with record-breaking attendance and an energized membership ready to advocate for the electrical and systems contracting industry’s priorities during this crucial election year. With a strong focus on government affairs and advocacy, the IEC Policy Conference will provide a platform for meaningful dialogue and impactful change.

The IEC Policy Conference will allow attendees to directly speak on:
- Advocating against policies that harm merit shop contractors.
- Supporting initiatives to address workforce challenges.
- Advocating for the IEC apprenticeship program by speaking on the Department of Labor’s proposed changes.
- Addressing concerns over new safety regulations impacting nonunion job sites.
