GREENVILLE, S.C. and KENT, Wa. — Hubbell Lighting announced that it has appointed PLS as its new representative for the Western Washington and Southeast Alaska markets.
PLS is a full-service manufacturer’s representative agency dedicated to providing comprehensive lighting, controls and energy solutions that meet the creative demands of today’s design community.
“PLS and Hubbell Lighting are an ideal match,” said Bruce Laing, principal at PLS. “We feel that Hubbell’s strategic vision and innovative direction will align seamlessly with PLS’ 30-plus year commitment to customer service, technical excellence and out of the box thinking.”
PLS’ main office is located in Kent, Washington. The agency also features the popular “PLS Light Lounge” meeting space and learning center in Seattle, Washington. Conveniently located above the AIA office in downtown Seattle, the Light Lounge was established to provide a central location for specifiers, contractors, distributors and manufacturers to convene, share ideas and learn about lighting.
Laing continued, “It’s great to work with manufacturers that not only understand the current expectation of our customers but are thinking of how to support their needs moving forward in our ever changing industry. Hubbell brings that to the table for both PLS and our mutual customers.”
“PLS offers Hubbell Lighting a strong footprint and presence in the marketplace,” said Kevin Poyck, group president at Hubbell Lighting. “We look forward to supporting their team with our award-winning portfolio of luminaires and control solutions, comprehensive training resources and partnership capabilities.”
