Graybar Named to List of America’s Most Loved Workplaces

Newsweek_2024_MLW_US_vertical_logo.pngST. LOUIS, Mo. – Newsweek Magazine announced its annual rankings of America’s Most Loved Workplaces®, and Graybar was named to the prestigious list for the third consecutive year.

“We are very proud to represent the wholesale distribution industry as one of America’s Most Loved Workplaces,” said Kathleen M. Mazzarella, Graybar’s chairman, president and chief executive officer. “Receiving this honor for the third time speaks to the strength of our employee ownership culture, which has defined our company for the past 95 years. Employee ownership inspires us to give our best every day as we work to take our business to new heights. I thank employees for their many contributions to our success, and I congratulate them on this outstanding recognition.”

The list, developed by Most Loved Workplace®, a division of Best Practice Institute (BPI), has expanded to the Top 200 workplaces in 2024. This reflects companies’ growing commitment to prioritizing employee sentiment and creating workplaces that employees love. The results were determined after surveying more than 2.6 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from less than 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

“It’s inspiring to see the list expand this year to 200 companies, a clear indication that organizations are truly committed to creating workplaces where employees feel valued and connected,” said Nancy Cooper, Newsweek’s Global Editor in Chief. “We’re thrilled to celebrate their achievements as this recognition continues to grow.”
