PITTSBURGH — Wesco International has named Ralph Elder as its new VP of Sales, Northeast, US Construction.
Elder joins this role with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in leadership, strategic growth, and operational excellence across multiple industries. Most recently, Elder served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Agr International, where he was recruited to lead the commercial growth strategy following the company’s acquisition by Indicor.
Earlier in his career, Elder held a Vice President role at Berlin Packaging and senior roles at Wesco and ABB Inc., where he consistently delivered top-line growth, margin expansion and strategic account wins. His global experience includes leading OEM supply chain relocations, developing international partnerships and implementing kaizen initiatives to accelerate revenue recognition.
Elder also brings a decorated military background, having served in the United States Army from 2000 to 2007. He held command and operations roles in Iraq and Kuwait, earning multiple commendations including the Bronze Star Medal with “V” device for valor and the Meritorious Service Medal. His leadership in combat and community development initiatives exemplifies his commitment to service and excellence.
Elder holds a B.S. in American Legal System from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Averett University. He is an active member of several boards and veteran organizations, including the West Point Society of Western Pennsylvania.
