Mars Electric is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mark Howard Doris, former Chief Executive Officer and President, on December 28, 2025.
Mark was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and highly respected business leader whose life and career were defined by integrity, humility, and a genuine care for people. He began his career at Mars Electric in 1975, loading trucks and learning the business from the ground up. Through dedication and leadership, he rose to President in 1981, guiding the company for decades with fairness, vision, and a steadfast customer-first mindset.
Mark took great pride in teaching his sons, Michael and Andrew Doris, and watching them carry forward the values he held dear. Beyond the business, Mark’s greatest joy was his family—especially his five grandchildren, who were the center of his world.
Mark’s legacy lives on through his family, the many employees whose lives he touched, and the principles he instilled that continue to guide Mars Electric today and into the future.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Doris family and honor Mark Howard Doris’s remarkable life, leadership, and lasting impact.
