Welcome to “The Good Stuff,” where we highlight positive news and ways that NAED employees and member companies go above and beyond to give back to their communities! If you have some “Good Stuff” that you would like to share with tED, find out how below.
In this issue of “The Good Stuff,” Lonestar Electric Supply supports Generation One at a Back-to-School Bash.
Lonestar Electric Supply recently partnered with Generation One for a Back-to-School Bash on July 29, helping local students prepare for the start of the school year with approximately $3,000 worth of donated school supplies, clothing and other essentials.

The donation drive collected thousands of supplies, including 90 backpacks, 143 packs of crayons, and 231 glue sticks. Employees also donated children’s clothing and essentials, including uniform bottoms, polo shirts, socks, underwear, baby wipes, and blankets.
In addition to collecting donations, the Lonestar team helped cook for the Back-to-School Bash. Generation One plans to package the donated items for distribution to its students and teachers ahead of the new school year.

“Thank you so much again to you and your crew for cooking for us,” said Morgan Williams, development director at Generation One. “It means so much to us to have [your] support for our events, and we are very grateful for the partnership we have built over the years.”
The event continued a longstanding partnership between Lonestar and Generation One, with the organizations working together to support children and families in the local community.
