ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Graybar, a leading distributor of electrical, industrial, automation, and connectivity products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has been recognized by the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis (WFSTL) as a top place for women to work in the ninth annual “Women in the Workplace: Employment Scorecard.”
For the fifth consecutive year, Graybar was named one of 11 St. Louis employers that are leading the way in creating workplaces where women can succeed, advance and thrive. This year, WFSTL is recognizing employers that demonstrated excellence in four key areas of workplace gender equity: leadership, compensation, flexible work policies, and recruitment and retention.
The Women in the Workplace Scorecard recognizes employers that demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing women through measurable outcomes, equitable workplace practices, and policies that support recruitment, retention, advancement and workplace flexibility. Participating organizations must demonstrate results including women in a minimum of 25 percent of top leadership roles, a minimum of 25 percent of women among the organization’s most highly compensated employees, a starting wage above Missouri’s minimum wage, and family-friendly policies that support workplace success and advancement.
