MESA, Ariz. — Quality Electrical Distribution, a Sonepar company, will host a grand opening celebration at its Mesa Central Distribution Center on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers, employees, and members of the media are invited to tour the facility at 8127 E. Ray Road in Mesa.
The distribution center supports QED’s transition to a centralized logistics model. It brings inventory together in one location and provides real-time inventory visibility, along with more efficient warehouse and transportation processes. The facility uses Locus Robotics for automated picking and light automation designed to improve order accuracy and help QED scale its operations.
The grand opening will feature behind-the-scenes tours, vendor showcases, lunch, games, and prizes. Attendees can see the robotics technology in operation and speak with QED leadership about the facility and its role in serving customers.
