KING OF PRUSSIA, Penn. — Colonial Electric Supply today announced the acquisition of Dover Electric Supply, a family-owned electrical distributor serving the Delaware market. The acquisition brings together two independent, family-owned electrical distributors with long histories in the Mid-Atlantic.
Dover Electric Supply will continue to operate under the Dover Electric Supply name as “Dover Electric Supply, Powered by Colonial Electric.”
The acquisition comes as Colonial continues to expand its presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic, including the opening of new branch locations serving the Meadowlands and greater Richmond markets.
Together, these investments expand Colonial’s geographic reach and strengthen its ability to support customers and vendor partners across the region.
