Recognizing Marketing’s Finest
Here we present all of this year’s winning submissions, highlighting a different category each week.
PUBLIC RELATIONS—CORPORATE /
NorthEast Electrical
CDC Associate Spotlights
NorthEast Electrical created “CDC Associate Spotlights” to bridge the gap between warehouse operations and office staff. In the video series, warehouse associates were interviewed and asked a list of questions, followed by a picture to accompany their story.
The videos were included in NorthEast’s internal newsletter, linked to internal and external social media, and played on the break room TV.
NorthEast noted that the campaign humanized the company by putting a face to the work being done every day; increased engagement on social media; and showed that public recognition, especially when paired with visible appreciation from peers, boosts morale and strengthens connections across the organization.
The judges called this entry “a standout example of a well-executed program that clearly reinforces the company brand, unifies disparate teams, and delivers measurable engagement results.”
OneSource Distributors
Electrical Training Institute L.A. Tool Showcase
OneSource Distributors created this interactive, welcoming environment that connected students directly with its tools and safety experts and key supplier partners.
Focusing on hands-on learning, open conversation, and practical guidance, the Electrical Training Institute (ETI) multipurpose room was transformed into an interactive experience where students rotated between supplier stations and engaged directly with experts.
Beyond attendance and engagement metrics, the showcase delivered meaningful long-term value by strengthening relationships among OneSource’s tools and safety team, ETI leadership, supplier partners, and the students themselves.
“This entry delivers a compelling, community-focused PR initiative that strengthens brand trust and supports emerging professionals,” said the judges.
Dialight
Penang Facility Inauguration
When Dialight opened a new manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia, the inauguration represented a significant milestone for the company’s global footprint.
The communication strategy focused on executing a global, multichannel PR campaign that extended beyond the physical event to deliver sustained visibility and long-term brand value.
A key component of the approach was aligning multiple internal teams under a unified “One Dialight” initiative, bringing together the Solid State Lighting and Optoelectronics marketing teams to deliver consistent messaging across regions.
The campaign combined media outreach, digital content, and owned channels to ensure broad reach and cohesive communication and achieved significant global visibility, generating more than 6,400 media pickups worldwide.
The judges described Dialight’s entry as a “public relations campaign that turned a single facility opening into a global brand moment with measurable impact.”
Legrand
Cablofil Expansion Story: Investing in People, Processes, and Plants
While Legrand’s Cablofil expansion addressed customers’ need for reassurance that their partners could grow alongside them without compromising quality or delivery, it required a clear, credible story to communicate its significance externally.
The campaign strategy focused on transparency, credibility, and human impact, leveraging third-party industry media to validate the investment, a people-first narrative emphasizing workforce and process improvements, and alignment with broader Legrand brand values around reliability and partnership.
In addition to the earned media exposure that was achieved, the campaign expanded the reach of Cablofil’s growth story and provided a strong foundation for ongoing sales, distributor, and brand communications.
The judges applauded the entry, noting, “Legrand’s corporate PR entry shines as a focused, credible narrative that turns a manufacturing expansion into a brand-building win.”
