Becker Electric Supply announced the opening of a new location on the southeast side of Indianapolis, its third full-line stocking location in Indiana. Key suppliers include Square D, Hoffman, Thomas & Betts, Sylvania, Littelfuse, EGS, and Legrand.
Becker’s, a 95-year old company headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, has served in the Indiana market for over 7 years through its Greensburg and Columbus branches. Becker’s has eight locations in Indiana, Ohio and Georgia with over 175 employees.
The 18,000-square-foot-facility in Indianapolis includes a sales counter and also serves as a distribution center for the surrounding areas in Indiana with daily deliveries. A team of industrial and construction sales associates, as well as lighting quotations, and automation specialists work in the branch.
Greg Fenter, Vice President of the Indiana Division, oversees management of the Indiana branches which serve the contractor, utility, industrial MRO and OEM markets as well as providing energy solutions in lighting, lighting controls and variable frequency drives to the end user market. “Our expansion into Indianapolis is an important component of our overall strategic plan of expanding via contiguous counties.
