CED Makes Donation to Louisiana Flooding Victims

Consolidated Electrical Distributors recently donated to the relief efforts for flooding in Baton Rouge, La. The comany has several employees who were impacted by the flooding in that area, and wanted to do what they could to provide assistance.

Statement from CED on its flood relief donation:

“CED made a $5,000 donation to the American Red Cross, specifically for the flood victims in Baton Rouge, LA. They are a reputable charitable organization and we were able to stipulate that the donation was specifically for those flood victims.

“Our location in Baton Rouge had several employees negatively affected by the floods. It’s manager, Russ Davis, along with many of their employees and people from our Harvey, LA and Lafayette, LA locations, have put forth great effort to make sure assistance was provided all those in need, including providing two campers for those displaced from their homes.

“We have also launched a CED employee donation drive to aid those impacted by these floods in Baton Rouge and will continue to monitor their need for assistance in the weeks and months to come.”
