Last week Inline Electric Supply of Montgomery, Ala. hosted its first Energy Efficiency Expo on Oct. 17 in their lighting showroom.
More than 30 vendors provided a look into the future of energy efficient products and strategies including: LEED certification requirements, LED lighting, lighting retrofit strategies, and energy conservation opportunities. Experts were at the event to answer questions about the latest in energy efficient technology.
Inline vendors introduced the latest products the lighting industry has to offer and guests were shown the potential energy savings for their facilities and lighting projects. There were three continuing education classes for the lighting and design professionals. Jerry Chambers from the Heusser agency presented “Light Control and LEED: How light Control Helps Achieve LEED Certification in Commercial Buildings,” Rick Spencer from Philips Capri Lighting, presented “LED Technology Update,” and Ronnie Arant, national sales manager for Hubbell Lighting/Duallite, presented “Life Safety Fundamentals.”
More than 125 local architects, engineers, and designers attended the event to see displays and products from companies like Philips Day-Brite, Hubbell Lighting, Progress Lighting, and Lithonia Lighting. RAB Lighting also displayed all of its latest LED fixtures.
