Queensbury, N.Y.-based Warren Electric Supply has entered into an agreement to be acquired by US Electrical Services Inc. of Hartford, Conn.
Details of the deal have not been released; the transaction closed on July 30, 2012.
Warren Electric has eight branches serving central New York and annual sales of more than $20 million.
Randy Kuchenmeister of Electrical Distributor Consulting is representing Warren Electrics President and CEO Jerry Nudi.
“The Warren Electric business, with the additional resources brought in by US Electrical Services Inc., has situated itself to experience rapid growth in the immediate future,” Kuchenmeister said.
Kuchenmeister also told tedmag.com that all of Warren Electric’s employees will be retained in the acquisition and that the business will continue to operate under the Warren Electric name.
US Electrical Services’ group includes Duplex Electrical, Electrical Wholesalers, Fox Electric Supply Company, Hampden/Zimmerman, Standard Electric, Monarch Electric, Wiedenbach-Brown, Danlar Lighting and Distribution, Rahway Electric Supply, Lade Electrical Supply and Maurice Electric Supply.
