Atlantic Coast Electric Supply (ACES) hosted the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its seventh location, now open in Gastonia, N.C. The grand opening event took place on June 13, 2024.
The event offered an opportunity for guests to get limited edition ACES Gastonia merchandise and tour the new facility, designed to provide exceptional service and support to the electrical community in Gastonia. It gave customers a chance to meet the dedicated ACES team, including company President, John Marshall, VP/GM John Younginer, Corporate Credit Manager Judy Matthews, CFO Stephen Lovelace, Concord Branch Manager Todd Lankford, Gastonia team leader Austin Peeler, and many other employees in support of the celebration. Guests could also engage with key vendors such as Legrand, Siemens, and IDEAL, giving them more opportunities for a chance to win one of seven exciting raffle prizes. Duke Energy’s Senior Product and Services Specialist, Tammy Davis, was at the event to share and review energy rebate opportunities. A delicious BBQ lunch was catered by Double Barrel BBQ of the Greater Charlotte Area.
One of the highlights of the event was the ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Gaston Business Association Senior Vice President, Steve D’Avria, welcoming ACES to the community and area. John Marshall spoke about opportunity, “When you open a new location a word that comes to mind is opportunity. It’s an opportunity for existing employees to maybe take on a new role, it’s an opportunity to meet new employees in a new market, it’s an opportunity to get new customers in a new market, and it’s an opportunity to become good citizens in a new community.”
The well-attended event had over 100 attendees. It was a fantastic opportunity for networking, opening accounts, and learning more about the services ACES offers.
Plus, Industry legend, John Moore, Former Owner and Founder of Moore Electric Supply Inc., made a guest appearance to show support of ACES, a Carolinas independent electrical distributor.
