FORT MYERS, Florida — A new store has opened in Fort Myers. City Electric Supply (CES) Fort Myers East will help serve the area and introduce new customers to CES. This location will increase convenience for existing customers as it’ll save them hours of driving time throughout the day.
“This branch is only seven minutes away from our shop. I can just jump on the interstate and be at this location. Before, the closest CES location could be 30-40 minutes away, depending on traffic. It’s awesome to have this new location so close,” said Cris Dulichan, President of Creative Electric Sound and Security.
CES Fort Myers East is located right off I-75 in an industrial park with various businesses surrounding it, including mechanics, electrical companies, and other supply shops.
“We were fortunate to find such a great building. The warehouse we acquired fit the perfect mold to become a supply house with racking already in place. Our team came in to renovate the counters, and the gondolas were the last items installed. It took us about four months to complete the renovations,” said Branch Manager Jose Malave.
The Fort Myers East team continues to make an impact on their new and existing customers since opening their doors.
“I’ve worked with Morgan, the operations manager at Fort Myers East for three years. She has always gone above and beyond to help me the find parts I need. Jose and the team have been great since opening, and I look forward to continuing to shop here,” said Dulichan.
City Electric Supply has several locations in the surrounding area, including Cape Coral, Naples, Port Charlotte, and another Fort Myers location. But depending on your route, getting from one location to another can take anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours with traffic. This location will support other branches and help save time for customers.
“Going into Fort Myers one way can take at least 30 minutes. This branch will help our existing customers not have to come all the way into town. If you’re leaving town and forgot something, customers can just drop in,” said District Manager Jason Ford. “Being right off the interstate, this branch will help us receive new business as well.”
CES Fort Myers East will be led by Jose Malave. A retired sergeant with the Florida National Guard, Malave has worked at several CES locations in the area for over 10 years. He started at CES Hudson as a driver and worked his way up through each position in a branch. Most recently, Malave served as the operations manager in Sarasota, Florida for three years.
“The team here at Fort Myers East is experienced, and is looking forward to helping businesses in the area,” said Malave. “I am excited to see what the future holds here for us. Come in, meet us, and see what we can do for you!”
