EAST DUBUQUE, Ill. — Crescent Electric Supply Company has announced the appointment of Matt Simon to the position of Director, Business Development. In his new role, Simon will be responsible for developing strategies to grow the business organically and through acquisitions, and to manage the integration of acquired companies to ensure a smooth and profitable transition.
Prior to joining Crescent Electric, Simon held progressively responsible positions in the areas of analytics, procurement, acquisitions and finance with GenoSource in Mount Vernon, IA and Renewable Energy Group in Ames Iowa.
Speaking of the appointment, Crescent Electric President-CEO Marty Burbridge stated, “We are committed to growing our business in a variety of ways, and Matt will play a key role in identifying opportunities for expansion into new geographies and markets. He will also work closely with other company executives to evaluate line extensions and service offerings.”
