EAST DUBUQUE, Ill. — Crescent Electric Supply has announced that Mike Heard has joined the company as Director of Commodities. In this newly formed position, Heard will work closely with key commodities suppliers and Crescent’s field leadership, supplier management, and purchasing teams to establish regional and national commodity strategies.
Heard is a supply chain professional with more than 20 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, and logistics. Most recently, he served as the Global Materials Director for IEWC, a supplier of wire, cable, and wire management products to manufacturers and sub-assemblers worldwide. Prior to IEWC, Heard spent nine years with Rockwell Automation in various roles, including Global Manager of Vendor Managed Inventory.
