Datalliance Names Greenlee Textron as New Supplier Partner

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Datalliance recently announced that Greenlee Textron is its newest supplier partner in the electrical segment. Greenlee has kicked off implementation of their Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program by selecting the cloud-based Datalliance VMI platform and supporting services as the foundation of their program.

Matt Sisco, Greenlee VP of Sales and Marketing, said: “After looking at VMI over the past couple years, we’ve determined now is the right time for us to collaborate more deeply with our distributor partners utilizing VMI. Getting the product mix right with our distributor partners enhances our mutual sales opportunities while defining the right inventory investment with our distributors. Collaborating even more closely with our primary distributors is key to our growth expectations in the channel.”

Tim VanDeraa, Greenlee Director of Channel Distribution Sales, added: “Starting the VMI process is exciting to us as well as our key distributor partners. VMI is a valuable tool in the electrical market and Datalliance has multiple partnerships that help get us started. VMI comes up at almost every industry event, so having our own program will help drive deeper conversations with distributors. No doubt VMI will support and help drive growth initiatives with our primary distributor partners. Also, with our product category, knowing the in-stock service levels will be top notch is critical.”

“I’m excited to add Greenlee to our community of leading electrical suppliers and distributors,” said Tom Hoar, Director of Industrial Markets for Datalliance. “Our VMI service will help them get VMI off the ground quickly so they can start gaining the benefits in a short period of time. Greenlee will have many opportunities to scale their VMI program given their place in the market. Our team looks forward to helping them realize its full value proposition at the speed most comfortable to them.”
