Dave Maccarone Joins Madison Electric

CLEVELAND, OH –­ Madison Electric Products announced the new hire of electrical industry veteran Dave Maccarone as Vice President of Business Development. Maccarone brings nearly 30 years of experience and innovation to the company.

“I look forward to helping Madison grow its customer base through new product offerings and market expansion,” said Maccarone. “I have a lot of exciting ideas to implement that will strengthen our position as a leading innovation company.”

Currently holding nine U.S. patents, Maccarone is responsible for the creation of cutting-edge products such as lighting controls, Carlon boxes and conduit systems. He launched his company Vantage Technologies Inc. in 1988, which he sold to Lamson & Sessions/Carlon in 1992. Most recently he worked for ABB/Thomas & Betts, who acquired Lamson & Sessions in 2007, and was responsible for residential market growth.

“I am confident that Dave’s experience and skills will be beneficial for Madison,” explained Madison’s CEO Brad Wiandt. “His contributions will help provide horsepower to our aggressive business goals and will drive new opportunities within ED, retail and OEM channels.”

Invested in his community of Cleveland, Ohio and the electrical industry as a whole, Maccarone is a member of the Electrical League of Ohio, serves as Chairman for the Residential Standards Committee Emerge Alliance, and has served as an industry partner and committee member of Independent Electrical Contractors.
