PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. — Power management company Eaton announced a collaboration with NuLEDs, Inc., a provider of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) lighting systems. The two companies will go to market with a joint product offering including Eaton’s complete portfolio of PoE-enabled light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires and NuLEDs’ drivers, software, sensors and keypads.
“Our collaboration with NuLEDs on the design and implementation of a complete lighting solution using PoE provides an essential link between LED light fixtures and the Internet of Things,” said Ken Walma, vice president and general manager, Eaton’s Lighting Division. “Together with NuLEDs system, building owners can gain flexibility and reduce costs, while benefitting from smart, connected lighting.”
“Our combined systems can meet virtually any design application where the customer desires a connected lighting solution utilizing a converged IT infrastructure in the building,” said Lisa Isaacson, co-founder and chief business development officer, NuLEDs.
NuLEDs, with its focus on the delivery of Internet Protocol (IP) lighting through PoE and its controls and software products, will compliment the breadth and depth of Eaton’s low-voltage LED power solutions and lighting portfolio.
