CLEVELAND… Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton (NYSE:ETN) has announced that Steve Weber has been appointed director, Corporate Quality. Weber is located in Galesburg, Mich., and now reports to Barbara O’Dell, senior vice president, Corporate Quality. In this role, Weber is responsible for leveraging the tools and processes of the Eaton Quality System which include reinforcing standard work practices, talent management and best practice sharing.
“Steve has clearly demonstrated leadership through his 30-year career at Eaton,” said O’Dell. “In his new role, Steve will help foster Eaton’s values and culture of Doing Business Right – as he ensures our processes are efficient around the world.”
Prior to his new assignment, Weber served as director of quality for Eaton’s vehicle business in Marshall, Mich. He joined Eaton in 1983 as a manufacturing engineer and subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility in plant management and quality leadership. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from Northern Illinois University.
