Eaton Recognized as an Accredited Energy Services Company by NAESCO

PITTSBURGH … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton has announced the National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) has accredited Eaton as an energy service company (ESCO). NAESCO is the preeminent global industry organization that oversees the standards and practices for performance contracting. The new accreditation by NAESCO recognizes Eaton’s ability to meet the highest standards in managing energy-saving performance projects.

“Customers are looking to Eaton to deliver savings from reduced energy and maintenance costs,” said John White, business unit manager, Eaton’s Energy Solutions Group. “This accreditation underscores Eaton’s leadership and engineering expertise, which is helping to improve building and municipal energy infrastructure across the nation.”

Eaton provides business, public sector and institutional customers with turnkey energy project management services and a premier portfolio of solutions. As part of those services and expertise, Eaton’s Energy Solutions team is helping municipalities improve street lighting through energy savings performance contracts (ESPC).

Eaton’s Energy Solutions Group is helping improve the infrastructure of buildings and municipalities. One example of this is the ESPC street lighting program, which allows local governments to upgrade traditional lighting with no net cost.

Projects led by NAESCO-accredited, ESCO companies are designed to better manage energy consumption, improve facilities’ energy efficiency and reduce maintenance costs for periods ranging from seven to 20 years.
