PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Eaton announced it is leading an educational panel session focused on emergency communications at 2 p.m. on Nov. 18 during ISC East, the largest security event in the Northeast United States. In Theatre 2 of the Javits Center North in New York City, the session’s emergency management experts will explore best practices related to risk analysis and emergency response planning. The session will also compare different layers of mass notification systems and evaluate how modern technology can help distribute accurate information quickly to target audiences.
Ted Milburn, vice president of marketing for Eaton’s life safety and mass notification solutions, will serve as the session’s lead presenter. Milburn will be accompanied by David Dugatkin, the chief of police, from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
“In an emergency, it is vital to have a reliable, interoperable, and easy-to-use system in place to help quickly deliver the right message to the right audience,” said Milburn. “At the conference, Eaton looks forward to leveraging its expertise to help attendees improve mass notification programs to better protect, alert and inform critical audiences.”
