Epicor Software Corporation has announced the appointment of Donna Troy as executive vice president and general manager for ERP Americas, reporting to Epicor President and Chief Executive
Officer Pervez Qureshi. Troy will lead
operations and have responsibility for the Epicor enterprise resource planning
(ERP), wholesale distribution and human capital management (HCM) business in
the Americas.
“I am thrilled to have an
executive of Donna’s caliber and industry experience joining the Epicor team,”
said Qureshi. “Donna has a proven track record of driving growth and
profitability for organizations ranging from leading global technology companies
to entrepreneurial start-ups. Her extensive executive management experience in
enterprise software and technology, coupled with her extensive commercial and
operations experience, particularly enterprise sales, services, and channel
development, will be invaluable in this strategic role.”
An
award-winning software executive, Troy headed global go-to-market strategy and
execution at companies including Dell, SAP, McAfee and IBM, and brings more
than 35 years of industry experience to the ERP Americas role. In particular, her proven focus in strengthening
customer and partner relationships for both enterprise and small to medium size
business segments will be instrumental in driving continued success for Epicor
in the distribution, manufacturing and services industries. Leveraging her
global experience, Troy will also focus on expanding the company’s presence and
growth in Latin America.
“I’m excited to join Epicor, which
is incredibly well positioned to take advantage of its deep industry
capabilities, customer-centric focus and visionary technology to deliver
unprecedented customer value,” said Troy.
“At almost $1 billion in revenue, the company has the infrastructure and
market leadership to drive further success in the Americas and beyond. I look
forward to meeting with our customers and partners to understand their
requirements and priorities, and together, to accelerate growth and opportunity
for their businesses leveraging Epicor products and services.”
Prior to joining Epicor, Troy
served as vice president and general manager of a multi-billion dollar enterprise
solutions segment at Dell. During her time at SAP, Troy drove strategic growth of its SMB business,
playing a key role in the company’s successful transition to a hybrid,
multi-channel SME model, resulting in significant year-over-year license
revenue growth. As executive vice president, global channels and SMB at McAfee,
Troy transformed the channel strategy and drove SMB sales and market share
growth.
Troy played a key role in
orchestrating the turnaround of Tivoli Systems’ worldwide channels, alliances
and services business after its acquisition by IBM. She began her career at IBM, where she developed a strong executive management foundation through
successful roles in sales management, systems engineering and services. Troy
was IBM’s first global solution developer alliances executive, responsible for
building the new business unit to a multi-billion dollar revenue contributor.
