Boston, Mass. – Electric Supply Center (ESC), the region’s leading distributor of electrical equipment and supplies, is pleased to announce the addition of its third location and the hiring of industry experts Neil Mathews, Brendon Quinn and Paul Franco.
ESC has experienced strong and steady growth, providing services and materials to the best contractors and projects in Greater Boston, and with the opening of its Gloucester location will now be able to better service the North Shore area. The 18 Sargent Street location is in the final stages of construction and is scheduled to open on Monday, June 24th.
“ESC encourages future North Shore customers to begin opening accounts and ordering product from our constantly growing team,” says ESC President Larry LaFreniere. “Our Gloucester location will have all of the capabilities of our Burlington and Wakefield branches and we look forward to earning the business of the North Shore community.”
Joining ESC in the Gloucester location will be Neil Mathews and Brendon Quinn. Mathews, a Gloucester native, began working in the wholesale business at the age of 14. In the past 35 years he has held positions such as Counter Sales, Price Administrator, Branch Manager and finally Regional Operations Manager. Quinn joins ESC with six years of industry experience in which he has played significant roles in counter sales, warehouse management and purchasing – roles he will continue to take on at ESC Gloucester.
Joining the ESC team in both the Burlington and Wakefield branches is Paul Franco. Beginning his career in 1989, Franco worked his way up from floor production to Inside Sales until 2003, when he became a partner in a family owned restaurant. In 2006 Franco returned to the industry and has since worked in Counter Sales and Contractor Account Management.
