City Electric Company, based in Syracuse, N.Y., has announced that Andrew Esce (Drew) has been appointed President of City Electric Company Inc. effective January 2, 2016.
Esce joined City Electric Company as operations manager in August of 2006 and has played a critical role in the company’s expansion and growth during the past 10 years. In his new role, he will continue to set strategic direction for the sales and marketing functions, while overseeing day-to-day operations of the overall business. Esce’s vision for the future of this company will continue to build on its strong history and loyal customer base. His appointment to President reflects his impressive leadership ability and extensive background in distribution.
Esce currently sits on the Eastern Regional Council of the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) where he will serve as the Regional Vice President for the year 2017. He is also a member of the Product Committee of Affiliated Distributors (AD) and previously earned his Bachelor degree from Saint Michael’s College. Esce was also honored as one of tED magazine’s “30 Under 35″in 2012.
Also effective January 2, 2016, Andrew Esce, President and James Czaplicki, EVP/CFO became minority shareholders of City Electric Company, Inc.
In addition, effective January 2, 2016, Sandy Rosecrans will assume the position of CEO and executive chairman. Rosecrans will remain actively involved in the company as the lead executive, overseeing the overall company strategy and providing guidance to the executive team.
