Fromm Electric Supply Divides Sales Department

Reading, PA—Over the years, Fromm Electric Supply has built its capabilities in both the industrial and contractor markets to become a regional force in these two customer segments throughout Eastern Pennsylvania.

As part of its continued growth strategy, Fromm has divided its sales management function to enhance focus while building on proven success. “From product knowledge to relationship management, the competencies required to excel in the industrial and contractor segments are very different.” said company president John Hanna. “We felt it was time to reinforce our commitment to both in the strongest way possible.”

The company announced that Jon Gerhart, formerly Fromm’s VP of Sales, will become Vice President of Industrial Sales. In this role, he will oversee Fromm’s industrial/OEM business, including its automation groups.

Fromm also appointed Paul Chiaradia as Vice President of Contractor/Commercial Sales. Paul will manage Fromm’s commercial and residential construction sales; including its lighting and switchgear specialists and national accounts group.

Gerhart brings over 30 years experience in construction, engineering and sales management. He holds a BS in Environmental Resource Management from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Chiaradia, a graduate of DeSales University, comes to Fromm with over 15 years experience in an executive sales leadership role and 25 years in the electrical industry.

Fromm Electric Supply operates nine branches and two design centers in Central, Eastern and Northeastern PA.
