QUINCY, Mass. — On July 31, 2015, “J.J.” (a young man from the Friendship Home of Norwell, Massachusetts) threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, on behalf of Granite City Electric Supply.
Each year Granite City Electric donates its ceremonial first pitch to a charitable organization, worthwhile cause or deserving individual, selected within the New England communities in which it operates. Granite City Electric is a proud supporter of Friendship Home, Inc. and was honored to have J.J. throw out the first pitch on their behalf.
Friendship Home is a respite home and activity center for people with developmental disabilities. Friendship Home’s mission focuses on life enrichment through quality care and familial support in an environment that is both safe and compassionate.
