The St. Louis Post-Dispatch named Graybar to its Top Workplaces list.
Graybar came in third in the top large companies category, which included employers with 500 or more employees.
The newspaper based the rankings on employee response to questions about the company’s leadership, career opportunities, training, compensation and benefits.
“This recognition as a St. Louis Top Workplace demonstrates our commitment to working to our employees’ advantage,” said Beverly Propst, senior vice president of human resources at Graybar.
Graybar employs nearly 850 people in the St. Louis area and 7,400 across North America. Benefits for eligible employees include a profit sharing plan, defined benefit pension plan, 401(k) plan and comprehensive medical package.
