ST. LOUIS – Graybar has announced that it raised more than $117,000 in the third quarter for charities across the United States through its community platform, Graybar CARES.
Graybar employees, customers and manufacturers raised funds in a friendly competition to benefit various charities, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross, among others. Graybar’s Dallas District took top honors in the competition by raising more than $17,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
These charitable efforts served as a preview to the company’s national training conference recently held in Phoenix. At the conference, employees and manufacturers competed in various teambuilding activities to win an additional $5,000 donation from the Graybar Foundation.
More than $260,000 was raised for various charities through Graybar CARES this year.
“I am very proud of the impact we continue to make in the communities where we do business,” said Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathleen M. Mazzarella. “It’s a testament to the generosity of our customers, manufacturers and our employees.”
