Hermitage Lighting Gallery Adds New Employees

Hermitage Lighting Gallery has added three new employees to its Nashville location.

The company has named Scott Cavender as Outside Residential Representatives. He brings with him 20 years of experience in all aspects of the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. In 1996, he began his career with Pierce Hardware in Dallas, Texas. Three years later he was promoted to an account manager with their national division, JCR Distributors. In 2001, he worked as an outside sales person for Rick’s Hardware & Plumbing in Grapevine, Texas. In 2005, he was recruited to help design and manage Skanadario, which was a new showroom that was located just north of Dallas in Frisco, Texas.

Cavender has a BBA in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas. He is married and has twin boys, and loves traveling, spending time on the lake and watching sports.

A new appliance sales assistant, Jimmy Deaton comes to Hermitage with more than 10 years of retail experience, most recently with Home Depot as a sales specialist for six years. Before that he was an Electrical Assistant/Electrical Specialist with his family business, Deaton Electric Service.

Deaton studied Philosophy at Nashville State Community College and Nursing at Volstate Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee.

In addition, Daniel Robicheaux is the company’s newest lighting sales associate. He comes to Hermitage from O’More College of Design where he received his Bachelor of Arts. He also studied Physical Fitness at Middle Tennessee State University.

On joining the Hermitage Lighting Gallery team, Robicheaux said, “I’m very grateful I was considered for this position.  I hope to provide great customer service and keep the good name of ‘Hermitage Lighting Gallery.'”
