SHELTON, Conn. — Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB) today reported the Company has named Kevin A. Poyck, Rodd R. Ruland and Darrin S. Wegman Group Presidents for its Lighting, Construction and Energy, and Commercial and Industrial businesses, respectively, effective June 1, 2015. These businesses together form Hubbell’s Electrical Segment. Gary N. Amato will continue as Executive Vice President, Electrical Segment.

In these roles, the Group Presidents will have full responsibility for the operational and financial performance of the businesses included in each group. Mr. Amato will provide oversight to the three Group Presidents to ensure a smooth and orderly transition, as well as facilitate strategic projects across the Electrical Segment. All four positions will report directly to Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, David G. Nord.

Mr. Poyck will serve as Group President, Hubbell Lighting, based in Greenville, S.C. Mr. Poyck has multi-functional industry experience in product development, engineering, operations and brand management with organizations that include Maytag and Cooper Industries. He joined Hubbell Lighting in 2005 as Vice President, Engineering, and established the Engineering Shared Services organization. He currently serves as Vice President, Commercial and Industrial Lighting. Mr. Poyck
earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University, is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and has been awarded four US patents related to automated system design. He is a member of IEEE, the Upstate Lean Alliance, and serves on the NEMA Lighting Systems Division Executive Board of Directors.
Mr. Ruland will serve as Group President, Hubbell Construction & Energy, based in Manchester, N.H. He was leading BURNDY when Hubbell acquired the company in 2009. Throughout his career, Mr. Ruland has held roles of increasing responsibility across a variety of functions in the U.S. and Europe, including finance, sales, marketing, product management and business development at companies that included AMP, Tyco Electronics and FCI. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Gettysburg College.
Mr. Wegman will serve as Group President, Hubbell Commercial & Industrial, based in Shelton, Conn. He began his Hubbell career with GAI-Tronics in 2000 as Controller and has since held a variety of senior level roles, including Vice President, Controller, Hubbell Electrical Products; Vice President, Corporate Controller, Hubbell Incorporated; and his most recent role as Vice President and General Manager, Wiring Systems and Industrial Electrical. Prior to joining Hubbell, he was Vice President, Corporate Controller for Salient 3 Communications, Inc. and worked for KPMG LLP. Mr. Wegman earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
