GREENVILLE, S.C. — Hubbell Lighting announced it has been selected number five on the South Carolina Top Workplaces list.
Greenville Business Magazine, Greater Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Business Magazine have partnered with Energage, the employee research and consulting firm, to identify South Carolina’s Top Workplaces, which is determined solely on employee survey feedback. Any organization with more than 250 employees in South Carolina is eligible for a nomination. Employers can be public, private, nonprofit, or governmental and there is no cost to enter the program.
“It takes a tremendous amount of effort to foster an environment where employees feel motivated, valued and committed to drive positive results for our customers,” said Kevin Poyck, group president at Hubbell Lighting. “The people who make up Hubbell Lighting are the most strategic asset we have and the most critical component to our continued growth and success. While the Top Workplace recognition is great the real value for us is in the candid survey input from our employees that can help us get even better.”
The survey gathers responses based on 24 organizational health factors that measure how well employees are working together toward a common cause, including alignment, effectiveness, connection, managers, engagement, executive leadership and the basics such as pay, benefits, flexibility and training.
