Following the success of its first webinar in the spring, the electrical industry’s diversity and inclusion resources group “I Belong Here” is planning its second webinar on July 28, 2022 at 1PM Central time.
“I Belong Here” is continuing its “Voices” webinar series which will feature individuals from diverse backgrounds sharing their experiences and advice for transforming cultures and promoting opportunities for all. The group’s website says it “believes in a world where all people are free to express themselves with respect. We Can Do Better!”, with a mission statement that says, “We are a part of our communities across the nation where our employees live and work. We are here to create, foster and lead a diverse, equal and inclusive community. Our purpose is to influence the mindsets and actions of people to value differences to create stronger, more inclusive workplace environments and communities. Through strategic initiatives and partnerships across the industry, we aspire to create and sustain an open culture of unity that understands the core values of diversity, equity and inclusion.”
