ARLINGTON, VA – The Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. (IDEA) announces its appointment of Susan Streich as Manager, Wholesale Data Services. Susan was formerly National Sales Manager at IDEA and now will be responsible for the IDW Data Synchronization Platform and managing the Data Management Specialist team. Streich brings over a decade of electrical channel experience to IDEA and over 20 years’ experience working with product content.
“I’m passionate about educating manufacturers and distributors on how to increase sales, improve marketing efforts, eliminate errors and take costs out of their business,” said Streich. “I look forward to continuing IDEA’s efforts to help customers run their business more efficiently, from improving sales analysis and web stores with accurate, complete product data to helping countermen find the best products for the job.”
Prior to joining IDEA, Streich was integral to Vista Information Services during her tenure at Epicor (formerly Activant Solutions) and spearheaded the market research project in the electrical industry. She also spent eight years at a large buying group consortium in the food distribution industry, and began her career categorizing and analyzing point-of-sale data for A.C. Nielsen, a global leader in measurement and information services.
According to Bob Gaylord, President and CEO of IDEA, “Susan has proven her ability to help electrical distributors and manufacturers determine the best solutions for their business needs. She will now be taking that a step further to help them implement those solutions and continually increase their return on investment.”
Streich has been active in the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) Women in the Industry group for many years and will continue to participate in key industry events.
