WASHINGTON, D.C. — Ideal Electrical Supply announces the hiring of Kwame Bonsu as the new Director of Business Development – Federal and Facilities Management. Bonsu, who will lead the expansion of Ideal into both the Federal and Facilities Management markets, has diversified experience in the chemical, lighting, energy efficiency, and renewable energy industries, spanning over 30 years.
Prior to joining OSRAM Sylvania, Bonsu worked as a Process Engineer with Monsanto Company. At Sylvania (now LEDVANCE), Bonsu held various positions as product development engineer, senior sales rep., executive accounts rep., and government sales manager. After Sylvania, he also worked as Manager—Business Development, at Atlantic Electric Supply Corporation in Washington, D.C.
