SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Independent Electric Supply, based in Somerville, Ma with five locations serving Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island, is excited to announce the roll-out of our new e-commerce website. It has a clean design, improved functionality, and enhanced rich content focused on the Company’s pledge to continually search for new and innovative ideas to add value for our customers. We joined with leading manufacturers, industry partner Affiliated Distributors, and website developer Unilog to deliver a best-in-class B2B e-store experience that will ensure our customers are informed about new products and services that will help to add value and cut labor costs through innovation.
In addition to being able to place orders online with account-specific pricing, the new website will benefit our customers in many new and exciting ways, including: the ability to view account details like open orders, order history and account statement information. Customers will also be able to search our extensive product catalog and get real-time price and availability, along with up-to-date product details and specification sheets.
To assist with the new website launch, Independent Electric Supply is pleased to announce the addition of Taylor Troy as Digital Marketing Specialist. Taylor has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. In her new role, Taylor will be responsible for IES online presence. This includes the company website, social media, and all mobile marketing content. She will report to Bob Trolander, VP of Marketing and Business Development, and work in the Somerville, Massachusetts location.
